Horsemanship

Carl Woods
Carl started riding at the age of five; by the time he turned eighteen Carl began breaking colts for people. His horse training career
started from the rodeo arena and developed into rounding his experience by graduating from the Oklahoma Farrier College when
he was twenty.

In the last 12 years, he has focused on Quarter Horse and Paint breed shows, Reining and Working Cow Horse competitions and
some Team Roping during the slower winter months.

This clinic is designed to establish trust and respect with your equine partner. The riding exercises taught are practical and instils confidence in each rider’s abilities.

Body Work

Mandy Pretty - TTouch & Connected Riding Lessons
The Tellington TTouch - is a method based on circular movements of the fingers and hands all over the body. The intent of TTouch
is to activate the function of the cells and awaken cellular intelligence - a little like “turning on the electric lights of the body.” This
simple yet effective bodywork helps release tension and improve your relationship with your horse.

Connected Riding is the bio-mechanically functional technique that allows you and your horse to find true balance, freedom
and self-carriage.

Gina Allen - Equifit (Posture, Position and Balance)
Gina is an Equine Canada Certified Level II Hunter/Jumper Coach, a Level III Theory Coach, and is pursuing her Level III Dressage Coaching Certificate. Gina's vast experience includes three years studying and riding with former Canadian Equestrian Jumper Coach, Frank Sellinger in Alberta before moving to Pennsylvania where she trained with International Dressage Clinician and author, Paul Belasik. Gina was able to focus on Classical Dressage training methods which led her to combining her knowledge and passions of fitness and riding into her winning program: Equifit Services.

Gina has developed a program that focuses on improving balance, posture, and position whether on the horse or in the gym. With
her extensive knowledge of the mechanics of the human body and Equestrian Arts, Gina’s Equifit program is a winning combination

TREC
TREC is a unique informal competition for riders and drivers of all levels. Originating in France and first introduced in BC in 2003, it
is steadily growing in popularity. TREC is an excellent cross over sport for those who compete in endurance, competitive trail,
horse trials, and combined driving. TREC events are a great way to hone your horsemanship skills and enjoy the great outdoors!
You can introduce a young horse or new rider to obstacles in an open safe environment. It is also a benefit in conditioning a horse
after illness/injury in a low impact competition.
